Product Overview

The YZS casting bridge crane is a heavy-duty, four-girder, four-rail overhead crane featuring dual crabs (main and auxiliary). It is engineered for critical molten metal handling in steelmaking and foundry operations.

Structure & Design:
The crane comprises a bridge frame, a main crab, an auxiliary crab, a connecting traverse, a trolley traveling mechanism, and electrical systems. The main crab operates on the outer rails, while the auxiliary crab runs on the inner rails beneath it. This configuration allows the main crab, using its connecting traverse, to hoist the steel ladle. The auxiliary crab, equipped with a hook, coordinates seamlessly to perform pouring of molten steel and slag, along with other auxiliary lifting tasks. The entire trolley traveling mechanism and primary electrical equipment are housed within the girder.

Key Manufacturing & Technical Features:

Advanced Fabrication: The four-girder structure utilizes integral processing and a secondary assembly technology. Initial assembly fixes component dimensions using flat-position welding. A secondary assembly for stress relief precedes final machining, ensuring exceptional precision in gauge, diagonal, and span dimensions for simplified on-site installation.

Heat Management: The electric panel room within the girder is insulated with rock wool and includes an air cooler. A thermal baffle is installed along the girder's bottom to shield structural members from molten steel heat radiation.

Drive & Control: The trolley employs a stable four-corner drive system. The crane is equipped with a special electronic scale, with displays in both the cab and on the bridge. The main hoisting mechanism features an overspeed switch.

Standard Specifications (Customizable):

Working Temperature: -10°C to +60°C

Duty Class: A7

Power Supply: 3-phase, 380V, 50Hz (other specifications available upon request)

Typical Capacity: 125/32 tons and above

Safety & Protection Systems:

Load Safety: Overload protection, anti-falling device for hoist motors, and safety hook latches.

Travel Limits: End limit switches for long and cross travel, with optional wireless anti-collision systems.

Electrical Protection: Comprehensive suite including under-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, phase sequence, zero-position, and voltage-loss protection.

Emergency & Braking: Emergency stop system. The main lift is secured by four brake sets (two per lifting point).

Environmental Protection: High ingress protection rating (IP54/IP55).

Operational Features:

Enhanced Stability: Features two lifting points on the ladle hook's hanging beam via wire rope pulleys.

Redundant Safety: Each pulley on the hanging beam uses twin wire ropes for critical redundancy.

High-Temperature Resistance: Designed for reliable operation in radiant heat environments.

Dual-Cart Layout: The main lift cart is positioned above the auxiliary cart, which can be configured to the left or right of the main hook for optimized heavy-duty task coordination.

Application Scenario

Casting bridge cranes serve as the primary handling equipment in the smelting workshops of steel plants, specifically designed for the conveying, pouring, and hot metal charging of liquid metal throughout the production process.

The Four Girder Ladle Crane, a key variant of this equipment, is built to meet the rigorous demands of transporting and managing molten metal with high stability and safety.

Primary Applications:

1.Material Transportation
It efficiently transports ladles filled with molten steel between different locations within the workshop. The robust four-girder structure ensures enhanced stability and precise control when moving these heavy, high-temperature loads.

2.Pouring Operations
The crane enables accurate pouring of molten metal into molds or casting machines. Its precise controls allow operators to regulate the speed and angle of the pour, which helps maintain product quality and minimize spillage.

3.Hot Metal Charging
This crane is also used to transfer molten metal directly from the ladle into furnaces or converters for further refining. Its durable design permits reliable performance in high-temperature environments, supporting continuous production flow.

4.Safety Features
Given the extreme conditions of steel smelting, the crane is equipped with advanced safety systems such as overload protection, emergency stop functions, and often remote operation capability. These features help minimize operational risks and protect personnel.

5.Automation Integration
The crane can be integrated into automated handling systems, enabling streamlined transport and pouring of molten metal. This supports smart manufacturing through real-time monitoring and control, further boosting productivity and process efficiency.
